The Rossion Q1 is produced in the same state of the art manufacturing facility in South Africa where the Noble M12 and M400 were built. Covering over 380,000 square feet and employing over 500 skilled technicians this manufacturing facility has produced over 3,000 component vehicles worldwide. The factory is renowned for their excellent build quality, and the precise fit and finish of their composite bodywork.
Nearly all of the parts for the Rossion Q1 are built in house. All of the major assemblies are produced on site, including the composite bodywork, metal stampings, tubular space frames, CNC machined uprights, and the fabrication of the coolers and manifolds as well as the hand crafted interiors.
While banks of CNC machines produce those special parts necessary to construct high performance sports cars, composite bodywork laid up by hand, then cured in an autoclave to eliminate warping and surface finish deterioration. Hours of hand finishing are followed by a flawless application of paint to produce a composite body with precise fit and a standard of finish that is second to none.
Each Q1 is then assembled completely, less the installation of the engine and transmission for shipment abroad. |
